The Charlottenborg 2-Seater Sofa by Sika Design is a revitalized piece from a 1936 Arne Jacobsen design. A signature element of Jacobsen?s designs is the use of parallel curves which add to the strength and eye-pleasing fluidity of the piece. Handmade by skilled wicker craftsmen, the sofa frame sits on distinctive looped front and back legs. Double caned arms, a plush wedge bench-style seat cushion, and loose pillow backs provide relaxed seating comfort. Part of the Charlottenborg line which includes a chair and table, this sofa makes a noteworthy addition to both residential and hospitality settings.
