  • 4.0 out of 5.0     nice overall but could still be better George from  Jackson, NJ 5-19-2020 came on a pallet in two boxes - a flat box that was strapped to a big box ... the flat box was bent by the straps and the big box was completely empty ... i then realized they didn't want anything to be put on top of the flat box so they added a second box to hold it up vertically and put both on a pallet ... the table did arrive without damage but this is a huge waste ! including the pallet there was more packing material by weight than the table itself ... also the driver was barely able to even get the pallet off the truck even though the table itself was just a flat box. i was certain the table would be bent inside and opened the boxes immediately before driver left but there was no damage ... the bottom side of table surface though looked so rough it was hard to believe the table top didn't fall apart completely - there are literally giant craters half an inch in size on the bottom side ... but the top surface of the table had no defects. all the hardware was thrown in the same plastic bag and some of the washers ended up inside the plastic nut covers such that i was certain they didn't include enough of them and got upset ... i later found them during the actual assembly ( i was going to assemble it without the washers ) ... the legs are extremely strong and light hollow extrusions welded to cast parts ... the base of the table is almost industrial quality. but the top is fairly thin to save weight ... weight saving is a theme with this table - it is quite light. with the legs it's not a problem because tubular legs are still very strong despite being hollow but i would have preferred thicker top - while you can probably lean on it i wouldn't sit on it. finish is very classy - almost black but with just the slightest touch of copper like sparkle in it. hole is exactly two inches diameter based on using a ruler ( haven't used calipers ). all in all yes i recommend it but it can certainly be improved. specifically improvements i would like to see: 1 - thicker top 2 - less scary casting on bottom side of table top 3 - better packaging then it would be 5 stars
