Picnic table Gregory from  Menifee, CA 10-22-2020 Comments on shipping: LuxeDecor gave me the tracking number for the shipment, but the website for the shipping company (XPO) never recognized it, and I could get no shipping schedule from them. They never notified me when it was shipped or when it would arrive. It just showed up one day – luckily I was home at the time. Comments on assembly: My table is 8 feet long, making the planks very heavy and difficult to handle. Also, the planks are pre-drilled but the bases are NOT. This makes it very tricky to ensure that the planks are aligned properly with each other and with the bases before you drill the bases. But with patience and ingenuity I was able to put it together by myself, except for the last step which is to install the base support slat. For that, you have to turn the table over which is too heavy for one person to do (it almost requires three people). So - you have to be handy with tools, and you should plan on having two people for assembly. Comments on the table: The material appears to be very solid, and should be water-proof, insect-proof and UV-proof as they advertise. It’s also tough and almost impossible to scratch or dent. The table is sturdy with almost no wobble, but I was surprised it does not have angle braces underneath to eliminate any possible wobble. The table looks good, even better than the pictures, but I would have liked to have some color options for the base, other than just black. Bottom line: The table is expensive, but the cost of a wooden table with good lumber (redwood) is even more. I was willing to pay the price for this table because: (1) Its 50-year warranty against rotting, decay and insects; (2) It’s maintenance free (I hate sanding, painting and varnishing!); and (3) It looks distinctive, better than the average wooden table. I recommend this table.
